I am writing to request your assistance with providing support to the Marathon of Freedom, which is a coast-to-coast journey to raise awareness and funding for Muscular Dystrophy Canada by a man named Sonny Davis. Sonny Davis is a young man from Edmonton who has muscular dystrophy and is confined to a wheelchair. From there he plans to travel to Banff and Canmore, Calgary, Strathmore, Bassano, Brooks, Medicine Hat and Edmonton.
As the marathon of freedom continues Sonny’s team will require support in several ways; including gas cards, food, and places to stay along the route. Specifically, I am asking for your assistance in providing escort vehicles along the number 1 Highway.
